For players

Eleven-a-side or futsal, and a soccer league for the Tuesday you have.

The format is on the league page before you enter, with the half length and the roster limits that come with it.

Finding one

Format first, then everything else.

A 5v5 game on a small pitch and a full eleven-a-side season ask for different fitness, different commitment and different amounts of your week. Each league says which format it runs rather than sorting it out after you have paid.

Getting in

Whole side, or on your own.

A club entering a full side pays once for the roster, or splits the entry so each player covers their own part. Without a side of your own, mark yourself free to play and a squad a body short will come to you. Coed leagues set a minimum and it is stated on the league page, so a side knows what it has to field before the season rather than during it.

Before you turn up

What the soccer you enter has already settled.

Every one of these is decided by the organizer before entries open rather than argued about in week three, and whatever they have settled is on the event page under “What is set” — so you read the rules before you enter, not at the field on the first night.

Referees and pitches are outside this. Nothing here assigns an official, pays one, or has any say in which pitch you are on at which time — that is the organizer and their council booking, and a bad surface is a conversation with them.

Common Questions

Is futsal listed separately from the outdoor leagues?
Yes. Format is a real field rather than a note, so futsal, 5v5, 7v7, 9v9 and 11v11 are distinguishable before you enter and a club running several of them lists each on its own.
What does the coed minimum mean for me?
It is the number of women a side must have on the pitch, set by the league and checked against the roster. It affects whether a team can field a legal side, so a team recruiting to meet it is a real reason you might get placed quickly.
Do I need an account to look around?
No. Browsing is open to anyone — leagues, clubs, tournaments and races are all readable without signing in. You only need an account to register for something, because a registration has to belong to somebody.
How does paying work?
Registering and paying are one step, by card. Where the event asks for a waiver you sign it in the same checkout rather than printing it and carrying it to the field. The money goes to the organizer running the event rather than sitting with us until the season ends.
What if I do not have a team?
Races, tournaments and open days take you exactly as you are — one entry, one person. A league season is entered by a team, so instead of registering alone you list yourself as available to play and the teams that are a body short come and find you. Nothing is paid until one of them takes you on.
What happens if it is already full?
For a race, a tournament or an open day, a waitlist place confirms itself the moment somebody drops out. A league season queues by team instead, and the side that comes off the queue gets a window to settle the entry before the spot moves on. Where the field is capped by permit, entry may run as a draw with a claim window instead.
Something went wrong with my registration. Who do I ask?
The organizer first. They run the event, they can see your registration and they are the one who can change or refund it. If you cannot reach them, we will help — but they are faster, because it is their event.
What do I keep afterwards?
One profile carrying every registration, result and standing, across every sport you play here. A season of kickball and a spring half marathon sit in the same place rather than across two organizers and a timing company.
